Unisys needed to elevate its visibility and credibility as a global authority on security and trust in an overcrowded technology landscape, while driving sustained media attention and thought leadership.
To achieve this, Unisys launched the Unisys Security Index™ — the only regular global snapshot of security concerns, based on statistically robust data across four major categories: national, financial, internet and personal security. From 2017 to 2021, John and his team led every aspect of the initiative: designing and authoring the survey, managing the external research vendor, analyzing the results and crafting the global report. They also handled all communications and media outreach to ensure the findings reached key markets and decision-makers.
The Unisys Security Index consistently generated high-level media coverage around the world, cementing Unisys’ reputation as a trusted leader in global security. It became a cornerstone of the company’s communications strategy and a benchmark referenced by both press and policymakers.
Unisys wanted to strengthen its position as a global authority on security and trust while
increasing media visibility and thought leadership in a crowded technology landscape.
By pairing original research with strategic communications, Unisys transformed data into a
long-term brand asset that continues to drive visibility and credibility.
